A fixed indoor set-up consisting of 8 motion tracking cameras, retroreflective markers and the Motive 3D software package. Used for high-frequency pose (position and orientation) data measurement, both for rigid bodies and humans.
The motion capture system has been used in localization system accuracy assessments, sensor calibration, and generating training data for neural network models performing spatial inference. Seleted applications include: visual odometry system testing, SLAM data set annotation methodology assessment, training data for behavioral cloning in industrial robot control and developing an audio-based quadrotor drone detection system.
